This solution seems to solve everyone’s problem…except mine. I am getting the exact same re-direct to login page on one of my blogs and, after having “repaired” the database, it still stays there. ARrrghh!

I just wanted to echo everyone else’s thanks. This totally saved me in a pinch! I just upgraded to WordPress 3.0.3 and installed a new blog for a friend aroudn the same time, then my blog crashed. Total freakout. You soled the problem exactly, even the same table, wp_options.

You saved me! It all started out for me saying “error establishing a database connection” Looked at the DB and wp_options took a crap. The simple repair query did the trick!
